Lonika is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) which was sparked by her training in a women’s clinic in Southeast Asia where she provided acupuncture and Chinese medicine to women and children in underprivileged communities. It was this experience that solidified her passion for working with women’s health conditions and emphasized the value alternative treatment techniques provide. Lonika strives to deliver exceptional care for her patients and couples trying to conceive, while encompassing compassion and support on their journey.
Lonika began her career in health and wellness practicing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for several years in an integrative clinic in Chicago. She has always been interested in medicine but found herself particularly drawn to the natural and integrative side of healthcare after acquiring her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. There she became fascinated by the power of the mind-body connection. Subsequently, Lonika completed her Master of Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago in 2008. She has dedicated her career to applying natural healing techniques and modalities to improving the health and lives of her patients.
