Background

Jim was introduced to Chinese medicine in his study of the Chinese internal martial arts over a 15 year period. In  that period of time he developed a passion for Chinese medical theory and treatment. The fact that Chinese medicine can be used to treat a variety of illnesses without resorting to pharmaceutical drugs or surgery and that Chinese medicine views the individual as a whole rather than a symptom really appealed to Jim.
It is Jim's mission to help his patients bring about optimal health and function so that they may achieve their goals in life. He seeks to do this by having empathy and sensitivity to his patients so that he may find the best way to address their needs.

Specialties
Jim uses Traditional Chinese medicine including acupuncture, herbology and lifestyle recommendations to help patients regain their health and optimal function. He uses the Balance Method, a type of acupuncture that uses relationships between the organs/channels of the body to regulate blood flow in the body to cure illness.
Jim specializes in infertility, gynecology and mental health disorders.
Education
Jim holds a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego. He is also a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Herbology awarded from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He received his undergraduate in a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott.
